Carlos Cortez was an artist in every sense of the word. His poetry was reflected in his art and vice versa. His humanist, activist, spirit were an inspiration to all whom he met.
Various artists and poets from the Chicago area will read and tell their personal stories about this iconic, uniquely Chicago artist.
This event is being coordinated by Carlos Cumpian. The art of Nicolas De Jesus will still be on exhibit.
